'Azab enters the cave seeking refuge only to find something potentially more dangerous then his persecutors. But is it as dangerous as it seems? In this painting my aim was to use color and lighting to create an atmosphere of mystery and intrigue. I wanted a sense of the horseman being fascinated by the beauty of the cave enough to investigate further despite its dangers.
